A passionate and creative storyteller, strategist, and marketer, his experience is rooted in more than a decade of television news production and public relations management. He lives in Sacramento with his wife, daughter, and a Goldendoodle named Theodore. He believes in the power of capturing human emotion to share stories and wants to leave a positive impact on the world every day.

Favorite part of his job:

“I love meeting new people every day and telling their stories. It’s so rewarding to learn about people in the community and help to give them a voice. An expanded knowledge and understanding will help lead humanity to a better place.”

He earned a Communications degree from Flagler College in 2009. He worked in a kitchen at night to help pay tuition and picked up video production jobs on the side. He has formal culinary training, built out a menu and was a chef for a startup restaurant, and has a passion for creating pleasurable experiences for people.

In 2009 he started a video production company in Orlando specializing in action water sports. He completed several projects promoting and marketing athletes in wakeboarding, skateboarding, and surfing.

He began his journalism career in 2011 in Roanoke, Virginia. Growing up in a small town just outside of Roanoke, it was an honor to begin his career serving his home community.

He has covered national news events across the country, including the 2015 journalist murders, the Mandalay Bay shooting, the Pulse Nightclub shooting, Hurricane Sandy’s landfall in New York and New Jersey, the Donald Trump presidential inauguration, and deadly California wildfires.

He thrives in a leadership role and faces professional challenges head-on. He understands you can achieve more as a team than as an individual. He leads by example and believes in doing things the right way.

His passions are family, food, and photography.
